It’s our pleasure to be able to share with you the latest edition of Around Europe, the newsletter of the Quaker Council for European Affairs. In this edition, we explore how volunteers working with refugees can develop secondary trauma, and look at ways to help those affected. We also reveal new proposals that risk militarising the Erasmus programme, and get an insight into Europe’s response to security challenges more broadly from our new Peace Programme Lead.

Also in this issue
– The role of unarmed civilian protection in peacebuilding
– QCEA discussions on violence and masculinity
– All the latest news from Quaker House in Brussels
– Information about the QCEA Study Tour 2017
