Voices of Peace: Stories of Conscientious Objectors from Europe and Beyond.
Description
On 15 May, the International Day of Conscientious Objection, we are launching Voices of Peace: Stories of Conscientious Objectors from Europe and Beyond.
As militarisation increases and security is more often linked to weapons and military spending, this publication celebrates a different kind of courage: the courage to say 'no'. It shares eight personal stories from people in Europe and beyond who refused to support or take part in war.
This project is a collaboration between Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA), Connection e.V., War Resisters’ International (WRI), and Agir Pour la Paix.
