Brown-bag lunch with Serena Awad, AFSC Gaza Programme

Discussing the challenges of living and working in Gaza during the genocide.

Description

The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and the Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA) invite you to join us for a brown-bag lunch with AFSC’s Gaza aid worker, Serena Awad. She will talk about the challenges of living and working in Gaza during the genocide.

AFSC has worked in Palestine since the 1948 UN mandate and has provided lifesaving help to more than 1.2 million displaced Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. Serena Awad will share what it has been like to work as an aid worker in Gaza during this time.
