Communications and Fundraising Coordinator
Martin Leng joined QCEA in November 2016 as our Communications Coordinator. He is responsible for our brand, visual identity and the production of reports, and guides the development of our organisation's strategic messaging. He also handles much of QCEA's outreach to our supporters, including the publication of our newsletter, Around Europe. Since joining QCEA, Martin has assumed a coordinating role in our fundraising efforts and also developed #ChooseRespect, QCEA's online pilot project against anti-migrant hate speech which reached 1.1 million European voters.
With a background in European external policy, including an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe, Martin previously worked on policy for a minority rights NGO and a peacebuilding consultancy before making the move into communications. At QCEA, he has the opportunity to blend this political expertise with his creative side - as well as his commitment to a more ethical European Union.
Originally from Scotland, Martin speaks English, French and (rusty) Swedish.
